There are a lot of things going on in the world right now, like the coronavirus pandemic, protests and wildfires, but Mother Nature doesn't stop there. Earthquakes happen in the Pacific Northwest, actually at a frequency of 15-20 earthquakes, that are felt, each year. Since 1970, over 17,000 earthquakes between magnitude 1 and 6 have been recorded in Washington and Oregon alone.
